What we've been doing

We have collaborated with NHS Grampian and Aberdeen City Council to prevent winter slips and falls in Stockethill. Our volunteers gritted the footpaths of our community during winter 23/24 and organised on-street grit bags.

We have secured funding for and installed two defibrillators, one at Cairncry Community Centre and one at Webster’s Pharmacy at the Six Roads Roundabout. We have also organised training in CPR and using defibrillators for staff and volunteers in Cornhill Shopping Arcade.

We have campaigned on local issues such as the closure of Cornhill library, the potential redundancy of the Cornhill Primary School lollipop lady on Cairncry Road and fighting the McDonald’s planning application for the Rosehill House site.

We have provided funding for Cornhill Community Art Space, Cairncry Community Centre Christmas Day meal as well as  providing volunteers for the Cairncry & Cornhill Summer Gala Day and Big Help Out 2023.
